It devotes 17 million euros a year to transport – mostly intended for scholars, yet open to all.

The network

Every day, almost 250 vehicles take people to their schools and/or town centres.
The departmental lines thus represent an extensive network of centres of activities, accessible to all.
Some lines (known as ‘de marché’) operate on particular days of the week for travel to and from fresh markets, and these can be used as feeder services for personal journeys.
Lastly, the Conseil Général has, since 2009, been experimenting with demand-driven transport in the Pays de Brie and Champagne areas.
