Introduction
The Region – the organising authority behind regional passenger transport services
Since the 1st of January 2002, the Region has been competent to organise regional passenger railway transport (TER Champagne-Ardenne), and since 1986 the TransChampagneArdenne road and motorway link between Troyes/Châlons-en-Champagne/Reims and Charleville-Mézières.
The Region intends to ensure that the people of the Champagne-Ardennes have the very best possible transport system.

The TER network

Specific services
Accessibility
The TER Champagne-Ardenne Company will work with the Champagne-Ardenne Regional Council to develop a general accessibility plan (or SDA) for the TER network. This SDA will set out plans for accessibility to the TER network and for suitable alternatives. Without waiting for the accessibility plan to be finalised, the SNCF has already implemented the ACCES+ service (free) in a number of stations, which organises journeys for handicapped passengers and guarantees them an excellent welcome and the very best assistance.
If you would like to use this service, contact ACCES+ on 0 890 640 650 (Freephone number) 48 hours before your journey.
Bicycles
Bicycles are welcome on TER trains and coaches, as long as space permits. Cycle parking areas are available at certain stops.
