How to calculate a route ?
How is a desired arrival time indicated ?
From the search form (quick or detailed), you can specify a departure or arrival time (but not both). Destineo always searches for the optimum itinerary for arrival before or departure after the time requested..
What are the search options ?
3 search options are offered:
- The fastest route,
This option will find the itinerary arriving soonest, given the time requested. Other itineraries, involving fewer changes or less walking may however exist (cf. other search options below).- Least walking,
In using this option, Destineo searches for the fastest itinerary arriving soonest, given the time requested, and involving as little walking as possible.- Routes with the least changes.

In certain cases, the solutions offered by Destineo may be identical regardless of the options selected, because they already include the least walking and changes possible for the date and time requestedShould modes of transport be selected or unselected ?
By default, all modes of transport are taken into account in the calculation of itineraries. For more specific requirements (questions of accessibility for example), you can choose to deselect modes of transport.
How to understand the proposed results ?
VITICI proposes systematically 5 solutions of your search. These last ones take into account your criteria of search (the fastest, least correspondences, least walking) as well as for your imperatives (leave before or arrive later).
The pictograms represent the various ways of transportation (buses, trains, bus) which you will have to borrow(take) to make your route to know the detail of your route and visualize your road map, click Detail.
You can also use the functions " Leave earlier " or " Leave later " to know the other possibilities of routes during the day.Why The VITICI site is asking me to specify my departure or arrival point ?

In certain cases, it is possible that Destineo may be unsure of having found the departure or arrival point requested (for example, if there are several stops with similar names). In this case, Destineo will offer you a list of pertinent points, and ask you to choose the one you are looking for. The list of these points is drawn up according to phonetic similarity.Which is the covered geographical perimeter ?
The searches for routes or for schedules are possible on all the region Champagne-Ardenne as well as from the main stations of the big cities of France (Bordeaux, Paris, Lyon).
To note that except the perimeter of the region Champagne-Ardenne, only the search by station is possible.

VITICI is above all a tool allowing to examine of multimodal routes in region Champagne-Ardenne thanks to the offer of public transport. The car allows nevertheless to join your point or departure of arrival if these last ones are too much taken away from the regional network of public transportation.
In that case, we invite you to consult the section " Practical services " which will allow you can be to find one or several persons making the same route as you.What can I enter as a departure or arrival point ?
VITICI enables you to search for itineraries from either the departure point or the destination:
- a postal address located in the Champagne-Ardenne region,
- a transport stop served by one of the VITICI project’s partner networks
- a public place (Mairie, Conseil général, Préfecture, school, lycée, etc)Your search will be more effective if you give two indications for your departure or arrival point: an address, public place or stop, as well as the commune in which this is located.
Please note: Some transport networks are not yet included on VITICI. Because of this, it is possible that the stops closest to your home may not be recognised.I am unable to select the date I want
The calendar offers searches on dates for which all the transport networks included in VITICI have provided their timetables. As a general rule, it is possible to carry out searches for the 1-month period following today’s date. This period may however vary, in line with the calendars for each transport network.
It is not possible to carry out searches for a date prior to today’s date.
